Scam Alert: If you own a home, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll need a contractor at one point or another. Unfortunately, finding a good one is easier said than done. According to a new study, one in 10 Americans has fallen victim to a contractor scam. The types of scams run the gamut, but baby boomers tend to be the most vulnerable, with 15% saying they’ve been a victim. Millennials were second-most likely to be victimized, at 13%.

Boone A&M FFA Chapter Receives Donation from VisionBank

BOONE, IOWA (June 24, 2013) – Student leaders and adviser of the Boone A&M FFA chapter recently accepted a check for $300 from VisionBank of Iowa.

Boone A&M FFA Chapter has been chartered since 1997 and has a rich history of helping agriculture students reach success. The charter has been involved in FFA at the local, district, state and national level.

The Boone A&M FFA chapter is using the donation to cover the costs of button-down oxford shirts for all of the officer.
