Grimes, IA --- (Press Release) SVP Consumer Banking Division Manager, Dan Boes, is proud to announce the hiring of VP Mortgage Lender, Cliff Cunanan. Cliff will office out of the Grimes branch located at 925 SE Gateway Drive Grimes, IA 50111.
Cliff joins the VisionBank team with over 36 years of mortgage lending experience. In his new role, Cliff will be responsible for growing and maintaining strong customer relationships and servicing all VisionBank mortgage purchase and refinances in the Grimes and Greater Des Moines community.

When asked about his new role Cliff stated, “When you have been in the industry as long as I have, you see how all of the different banks handle their loan structures and their portfolios. With some of the bigger banks, that sense of service and ownership gets lost in the shuffle of the corporate chaos. With VisionBank, I think I will have the opportunity to truly know and service my customers again and that is what I am the most excited to get back to.”
Cliff graduated from Cal State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor of Management Information Systems but fell in love with banking during the refinance boom of 1985 and has been originating mortgage loans ever since. Cliff and his wife now reside in Ankeny with two of their three children.
