Social Distancing

VisionBank employees will be adhering to social distancing guidelines by maintaining a six-foot distance, and we ask our customers to do the same. We have placed social distancing decals on the floors in our lobbies to indicate the proper six-foot spacing requirements.

In addition, we have also installed transparent barriers at each of our teller windows and designated banker offices for the protection of both our employees and customers.

Masks and Facial Coverings

Masks or facial coverings for customers visiting our branches is not required but recommended. If you do decide to wear a mask or facial covering, please be aware that you will be asked to briefly pull down your mask upon entering the bank so we may properly identify you.

Sanitation

Periodic janitorial service at each branch will focus on cleaning desks and sanitizing common areas, which will be supplemented by daily cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces. All areas determined to be “high touch” will be regularly disinfected by assigned employees throughout the day, including desks, doorknobs, light switches, and any other areas that experience frequent contact.

Exterior door handles will be sanitized after each client entry and exit from our branches. Teller stations, desks, signing stations, and signature pads and pens will be disinfected by Bank staff after each client use.

Hand sanitizer will be available in our lobbies for use by clients, and we encourage visitors to sanitize your hands before and after your visit with us.

All Bank staff will follow proper hand washing for infection control. Our employees are required to stay home if they are sick or feverish and advised to seek medical care if symptoms persist.  We would also ask any customers who are ill to use alternative forms of banking rather than visiting the branch.

In the interest of public health, we are also no longer able to offer cookies, popcorn, or refreshments to our customers for the time being.

No Public Restrooms

All restrooms are restricted to employees only, with no public restroom available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope you understand that this decision was made with the best interest of both our customers and our staff in mind.

Thank you again for your continued cooperation and understanding as we navigate our way through this new method of service.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the coronavirus poses little immediate risk of exposure to most people in the U.S. However, we continue to monitor this evolving situation closely, and we wanted to share the steps we are taking at our branches to help keep our guests and associates healthy.

Our practices in responding to COVID-19 prevention follow the CDC and area health department’s guidelines.

  • Our branches are cleaned daily as part of our business practices. We have revisited procedures with staff to reemphasize the importance of cleaning in public areas and conference rooms.  Over the past few weeks, we have increased those cleanings and added hand sanitizers for our guests and associates.

  • We’ve provided prevention education to associates, and are advising them to stay home if they are not feeling well, or if circumstances might advise them to do so and to seek medical attention if they have symptoms.

As we monitor the situation closely, we are prepared to take additional steps for the benefit of our guests, associates and the community as new information and best practices emerge. In the meantime, we look forward to conducting business as usual. Be sure to stop by, give us a call, or connect with us on social media to see what we can do for you!
