In Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
March 24, 2020
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has brought public life across the nation to a standstill. With the closure of schools, restaurants, and other workplaces, we at VisionBank recognize the challenges and financial difficulties facing many Iowans in the coming months. As we navigate through this period of uncertainty together, I want to assure you, we remain available to serve your personal and business banking needs.
While our priority is the health and safety of our employees and public, we are still available through our digital channels, and available to set up appointments should the need arise. We recognize the tremendous impact this situation is having on our economy and encourage our existing borrowers to work with your lender if you are experiencing any financial difficulties. We will do everything we can to assist you during this time.
We would also encourage our existing borrowers to explore the Iowa Business Recovery Assistance packages put together by the Iowa Economic Development Authority:
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we continue to adapt to these ever-changing times. We will provide regular updates on our website and via email when necessary.
Thank you for your continued support of VisionBank. We wish the best of health to each of you.

Please know that the well-being and safety of our customers and associates has always been a top priority at VisionBank. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the coronavirus poses little immediate risk of exposure to most people in the U.S. However, we continue to monitor this evolving situation closely, and we wanted to share the steps we are taking at our branches to help keep our guests and associates healthy.
Our practices in responding to COVID-19 prevention follow the CDC and area health department’s guidelines.
Our branches are cleaned daily as part of our business practices. We have revisited procedures with staff to reemphasize the importance of cleaning in public areas and conference rooms. Over the past few weeks, we have increased those cleanings and added hand sanitizers for our guests and associates.
We’ve provided prevention education to associates, and are advising them to stay home if they are not feeling well, or if circumstances might advise them to do so and to seek medical attention if they have symptoms.
As we monitor the situation closely, we are prepared to take additional steps for the benefit of our guests, associates and the community as new information and best practices emerge. In the meantime, we look forward to conducting business as usual. Be sure to stop by, give us a call, or connect with us on social media to see what we can do for you!
