Doug Lau promoted to Market President in Ogden

Darrell Hughes, President/CEO of VisionBank of Iowa, would like to announce the promotion of Doug Lau to Market President of VisionBank-Ogden.

Lau held senior lending and management positions in Ogden and Boone for VisionBank, (then, City State Bank and Community Bank of Boone respectively), from 2005- 2010.  Most recently, Lau held the position of VP-Commercial Lender in our Ames market and has provided agricultural and commercial lending for many of our customers in Ames.

We are pleased to have Doug back in Ogden.  This is a very important community to the footprint of VisionBank.  VisionBank has been part of the Ogden Community for over 125 years. Doug is a great lender and manager with close Ogden ties,” said Hughes.
With this promotion, Doug will return to Ogden and will continue to be an active lender and now will also be responsible for directing business development, customer satisfaction, community leadership and promoting corporate culture, goals, and objectives in the Ogden Market.

Doug and his wife, Lindy, live in Ogden. Throughout his career, Doug has served on industrial and business development boards, along with several community service organizations. His hobbies and interests include golf and sharing time with grandchildren.
